Brett McArdle, Children's Resource Team member, and I had a fun day at North Shelby Baptist with over 450 children and adults. We attended the Alabama WMU's Children's Missions Explosion (three events today across AL; great work Cynthia White!). Our assignment was to capture footage for the CMD 2011 promo video (Neighbor to Neighbor video releases June 1). We also had help from volunteers Vinson Hardy and my husband Shane.
The CMD focus was on AL Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries. Kids, from the 22 churches participating, collected 1000's of Birthday Party supplies and made cards. Leadership from the ABCHFM taught the children about the vast ministries they do in associations across AL. You can become a fan at http://budurl.com/ABCHFB
